A Philadelphia native and Clark Atlanta University graduate, Joi Coleman has built her career in Atlanta, spending nine years within the Atlantic Records system as an A&R executive, with experience spanning artist development, record-making, and studio operations.

Her work includes A&R on projects for Big Scarr, RNB.FOEMOB, Quando Rondo, Enchanting, and Raiche; developing artists across multiple genres; and earning a Grammy nomination as a songwriter on Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III.

Her career has remained close to the creative process — from producing radio at Shade 45 and hosting on Dash Radio to years spent in studios working alongside artists, producers and songwriters.

After nearly a decade inside the major-label system, Joi founded Torch Music Group as an independent music company rooted in artist development, spanning label, management and publishing.
